Asia is a continent filled with incredible contrasts—from ancient temples and colorful markets to modern cities, tropical islands, breathtaking mountains, and some of the best food in the world. With 48 countries to explore, there is always somewhere new waiting for us.

For the Bacalso Tribe, Asia is especially close to home. Growing up with Filipino roots, exploring this part of the world feels like discovering both familiar places and completely new adventures. From the beaches of the Philippines to the busy streets of Tokyo, every destination gives us another story to bring home.

Southeast Asia is where many of our adventures begin. Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines offer everything from island escapes and cultural experiences to incredible food and family-friendly adventures. Whether we're chasing waterfalls, exploring temples, riding trains, wandering through local markets, or simply enjoying a beautiful beach, there is always something to experience.

Then there are the incredible cities of East Asia—Tokyo, Kyoto, Seoul, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and beyond—where ancient traditions meet modern life. And, of course, we can't talk about Asia without talking about the food! 🍜 From Filipino favorites to Japanese sushi, Thai curries, Vietnamese pho, and Korean BBQ, every country brings its own flavors and memories.

We may not be able to see every corner of Asia in one lifetime, but we're going to enjoy the journey—one country, one adventure, and one family memory at a time.

There’s really no bad time to explore Asia. With 48 countries and so many different landscapes, every season offers something special. From beautiful beaches and lush jungles to ancient temples, vibrant cities, and bustling local markets, there’s always a new adventure waiting for the Bacalso Tribe.

One thing to keep in mind when planning your trip is monsoon season. The timing varies from country to country, so a rainy season in one destination doesn’t necessarily mean it’s raining everywhere in Asia. A little research before booking your flights can help you choose a destination with the kind of weather you’re looking for.

If you’re traveling on a budget, don’t automatically rule out the rainy season. Since fewer travelers visit during these months, you may find lower hotel rates, fewer crowds, and better travel deals. And honestly, a little rain can make some destinations even more beautiful.

For the Bacalso Tribe, the best time to visit Asia really comes down to where you want to go, what you want to experience, and how you like to travel.
