Updated: Apr 3, 2024

Located in the tropical island city of Mactan, Cebu, the J Park Island Resort bursts at the seams with water fun adventure, and great luxurious accommodations. Enjoy with us as we share with you our 2nights staycation in J Park Island Resort and spend some time at the resort’s landscape. Not only is it paradise, but also the home of many water-themed adventure facilities.

Water Fun Adventure: One impressive feature of J Park Island Resort is the extensive water complex designed around a variety of attractions that are sure to please guests of all ages. With 7 themed pools, including a pool that has a sandy beach-like feel to it, guests can enjoy the feel of ocean water without ever actually leaving the resort. For adventure, 3 towering waterslides can provide an adrenaline rush, while a more alternative for relaxation, the lazy river pool in the resort makes provision for a more fulfilled and relaxing experience.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Once we checked in, the first thing we did was go to lunch at Abalone restaurant and then spring for all Filipino foods for the whole family. We did end up saving some for dinner and ended up with in-room dining for everything else. We spent the day lounging around the pool, going down the tube slide tower and the space bowl, and drinking margaritas at the bar until they closed at 6 pm. Then we all went to the kiddie pool to swim some more and got more drinks. Then the guys went back down to Havana by the Sea to drink and chill cause it’s just so viben.

Day 2: The next day started with a nice buffet breakfast with a lot of variety. From three to four to five stations. Either from K-food, J-food, I-food, or even for the Omelette station, Espresso, Pancakes, Greens and Lemonades, sweets, or even high-quality pastry. Then came the highlight of the children; The Paroro Park where the kids couldn’t stop smiling and screaming when we entered the indoor park. The two-story venue is full of activities. The park alone looked like a day wasn’t enough, I could have stayed there all day long. I love that they have café station where we had cakes and ice cream for the kids. And for the moms, coffee to keep up. After Paroro Park, we had another activity that was located at a designated activity zone where the whole family enjoyed the outdoor fun. We ended the day with a Japanese dinner at Nonki’s with Sake, Uni, Sashimis, and of course, Ramen! A 90-minute relaxation through Cara Spa, with a couples massage to end the whole experience. Whatever you choose from food and activities, do it all and enjoy with your family. There’s no way anyone could go wrong with any of them.

Day 3: The third day was our check-out day. My daughter got up early and requested to have once again a nice dip in the pool before checking out. A simple buffet breakfast and then in due course to go because it was time to say goodbye to a resort that we didn’t want to leave. We said our goodbyes and thanked Jpark for the short glorious stay and the enjoyment our family had while we were there. I enjoyed writing this narrative and I hope it was as interesting for you as it was for me. Thank Jpark Island Resort and Waterpark for having us till next time.
